Trainstation Desenzano del Garda

From the trainstation trains leave every hour in both directions. Actually there are more than one pr. hour as there are more than one train. IR InterRegionale is the cheapest one but there is also IC InterCity that goes in both direction, usuallally up to twice as expensive but it usually has fewer stops and therefor travels more quickly.

If you arrive by train there are both a taxi station and a bus station just outside the entrance of the railway station.

Walking downtown will taka about 10-15 minutes if you choose to do that.
Attention: It is not allowed to drive into the center exept with a valid reason. When I stayed at a hotel by the old harbour, Porto Vecchio, I was allowed to drive to the hotel when I checked in and when I checked out.
