Shopping
In Desenzano del Garda there are 2 main shopping areas. First, the centre of town and then the shopping mall, le Vele. Then we have a market every Tuesday morning.
The Centre Shopping area
The most apparent shops in down town Desenzano are high end designer shops in clothing, shoes and accessories. Dolce & Gabbana, Burberry´s, Cavalli etc. etc. If you want to spend some serious money here, you can;) If you want to spend a little less in your trip you also have good quality medium range stores such as Benetton for example. Then you also have more economic choices down to a “Everything for 15 euros” store.
The usual pharmacies, banks, icecreamstores, bookstores, postoffice, kiosks are in the centre as well.
The Market
Every Tuesday morning you have a Market in Desenzano and people all over the Lake Garda are come and shop around. Also many German people come over the Alps on Tuesdays for a late “Sunday drive” taking the day off.The Shopping Mall
It is a just under medium size shopping mall with some very interesting stores. You have some good bargain stores here, including a huge shoe store (football field sized), clothes and accessories store, electronics store, household store, toystore, supermarket and a two story athletics/sport store. Then you have the “normal” shopping mall stores such as eyewear, middle prices fashion shops, accessories, a cafeteria with light meals and a fast food restaurant. Supermarkets
There is one in the shopping mall but if you are not close to the Shopping mall, there are 2 other in the opposite end of town.1) Simply Supermarket(middle way from Desenzano centre to Rivoltella Centre, maybe 10-15 minute walk)

2) Pennymarket (which is located just opposite Spiaggia D´oro Beach in Rivoltella.)
