The 89th Opera Festival 2011

Event: Verona Arena 89th Festival season
The 89th Opera Festival 2011 is starting in June. Six operas, a total of 49 performances, from June 17th till September 3rd, starring some of the most famous names from the opera world.
The season is beginning on June 17th 2011 with a new stage setting of La Traviata by Giuseppe Verdi, designed by the Argentinean Director Hugo de Ana. The orchestra is conducted by Maestro Carlo Rizzi, who is debuting for the first time at the Arena.
