I went to Rome in October 2007 to see Alban Berg´s Wozzeck in the Opera house in Rome, (Teatro dell´Opera). It was very interesting, I had never seen this opera production before though I have listened to it. It was very interesting, reminded me of a Fellini movie if you know what I mean;) I saw it twice and I was delighted both evenings. I took the train from Verona and I was about 5 hours in route. One of the principal singers in this opera production is a friend of mine and he invited me to see/listen to him perform. And as you are a Opera fan, check out Terme di Caracalla which is a opera venue in summer time and these three; Castello St. Angelo, Church of San Andrea de la Valle and Palazzo Farnese which are all sites from Puccini´s Opera, Tosca.
